2025 NEW RELEASE

My new release with Ian Cardozo “Silencio!” is the Song of Silence of the war-dead. This song is timed to coincide with the outbreak of the Second World War. War echoes to a bedlam of sounds that only die down when actual cease-fires are in place, when survivors can dare to sleep, and the bodies of friend and foe seem to lie on the battlefield in quiet companionship. Peace prevails until the start of the next war, and to battle a predatory enemy again the war-dead seem to say readiness is all.

My song THE GAME draws upon competing players and actors in real-world settings and the most likely outcome of their games. Given the fading memories of cataclysmic events in the Indian subcontinent that elicited an outstanding example of effective principled humanitarian intervention in 1971, the song underlines how history patterns the present and could well impinge on the future as manipulative designs continue to drive the tragedies around us.

My new release IN OUR TIMES is about the unarmed civilians targeted regularly by armed mercenaries, operating with the plausible deniability of states that nurture them. It questions the fading moral compass of our societies that remain mute spectators to the widening carnage and destruction documented digitally with every passing moment.
